Civic Reception - 23 May 2006
John Hipkin, the Mayor of Cambridge, invited Cambridge Rugby Club to a Civic reception in the Guildhall to mark their three successive years of unprecedented success. In each year they were promoted, won the County Cup and the Eastern Counties Cup. In the season 2006/7 they will be playing at the highest level of any club in the Eastern Counties in National Division 2. This status puts the club amongst the top 42 clubs in the country.
